Applications will be due on February 10, 2006. Applications received after February 10, 2006 will be considered only on a space-available basis. If you wish to apply after this deadline, please contact the director.

Non-Duke students are welcome to apply. They must be in good academic standing at an accredited college or university and must submit a transcript and letter of recommendation, from a professor in the natural sciences, in addition to the above forms. In order to transfer credit for the above courses, they should consult their advisor and/or registrar.

After acceptance, students will meet with the director for orientation and introduction to the program. Non-Duke students will receive program information from the program director by mail. All participants must have a valid passport. An International Student ID is also required and is available for Duke students in the Registrar's Office. Card fee is $22 and is payable to the Bursar. Students may then take their photo and Bursar's receipt to the Registrar's Office, where the card will be made. Non-Duke students can purchase ID cards at their local Council Travel Agency. ALL STUDENTS must provide a copy of their International Student ID card to the office of Study Abroad before departure.

ALL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONSIDERED WITHOUT REGARD TO RACE, COLOR, NATIONAL ORIGIN, HANDICAP, SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR PREFERENCE, GENDER OR AGE. DUKE UNIVERSITY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS PROGRAM. SHOULD IT DO SO, REFUNDS WILL BE MADE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE WITHDRAWAL PROCEDURES/REFUND POLICY OUTLINED IN THE ATTACHED STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM STATEMENT OF AUTHORIZATION AND CONSENT FORM.
