Skeletons in Your Closet?
Are the skeletons in your closet threatening to take over?
The Department of Biological Anthropology and Anatomy welcomes gifts of any kind that have to do with osteological, paleontological and archaeological teaching materials, whether it is bone, fossil or cast gifts of any kind (no soft tissue specimens please).
Your unused osteological material can help teach future generations. BAA teaches classes in human osteology, the primate skeleton and mammalian osteology. We welcome donations of any unused physician-related material or other anatomical (osteological) specimens. Real bone teaching specimens are becoming increasingly difficult to acquire and any additions to our collections would become a valuable teaching resource. You can help further both undergraduate and graduate knowledge of human and non-human primate osteology and get a tax deduction at the same time.
